Pupils join the School into all year groups although the most common points of entry are Nursery, Year 3 and Year 4.

Nursery places are allocated on registration date, ensuring a balance of pupils. Places from Reception to Year 2 are allocated to ensure balance from the waiting lists, with siblings a priority.

There is an assessment for children joining Year 3 and above. This is not a rigorous hurdle but a check to ensure that the potential pupil is capable of enjoying the pace of Twyford’s lessons.
