Apprenticeships

Our creative vision for learning extends into our Apprenticeship scheme started in 2010, timetabled on a weekly basis, to provide a unique range of stimulating challenges and opportunities for Twyford pupils. Their aim is to ‘stretch and tickle’: to inspire children to explore and enjoy extending themselves in areas that do not appear in their formal curriculum. Activities include Mandarin, Arabic, History of Art, ‘Get in to Jazz', fish keeping, mathematical model making, business and enterprise, circus skills, web design, animation, bushcraft and survival, debating and public speaking.
