Charged when a pupil’s name is first registered for entry into the School. This fee is non-refundable.
Confirmation/Acceptance Fee: £1,000 (one full term’s fees for overseas students) on acceptance of a place at the School.
Registration and Acceptance Fees are requested by the Registrar during the joining process and are not invoiced.
The £1,000 acceptance fee will be repaid by means of a credit without interest on the final payment of fees, unless money is owed to the School, or unless stated otherwise in the Terms and Conditions or unless the parents wish to donate the confirmation fee to the School.
The whole confirmation fee is forfeited if the child fails to take up his/her place after it has been accepted.
Insurances
Within the fees all pupils are automatically enrolled into a Personal Accident Insurance scheme, which includes emergency dental care. Please see the attachment for further details.
The Fees Refund Scheme is optional and paid in advance. The scheme refunds you a per diem amount of your termly fee should your child be away from school for longer than 5 days (day pupil) or 8 days (boarder). Please read the Fees Refund Scheme document (download below) for more information.
Termly charge: Day pupils: 1.34% of term’s fee. Boarders: 1.04% of term’s fee
We recommend that you review the policies in relation to your family circumstances. Should you wish to opt in to the Fees Refund Scheme, please let the Bursary staff know as soon as possible so we can amend your bill.
Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers
The School accepts childcare vouchers. The Childcare Voucher scheme is now closed to new entrants however, if you joined the scheme prior to its closure in September 2018 we are still able to accept your childcare vouchers. The Tax-Free Childcare is a new scheme run through a HMRC account and the government may pay £2 for every £8 you pay via an online account. Please check the HMRC online childcare calculator to check your individual circumstances https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/tax-free-childcare
We can accept both types of vouchers against specific items on your bill with payment at the start of each school term.
i) Any items on your bill preceded with * can be paid for using Childcare Vouchers.

Twyford fees are regularly reviewed and benchmarked with the aim of maintaining affordability and good value. It is the policy of the Governors to review fees annually, changes taking place for the Autumn term. However, they reserve the right to increase fees or impose surcharges at other times if circumstances warrant it. Fee increases are normally notified to parents at the end of the Summer term.
