A new and exciting opportunity has launched for international pupils seeking an authentic British prep school experience. Set within 40 acres of Hampshire countryside in the historic village of Twyford – just three miles from Winchester and around an hour from London the Bespoke Immersion Programme offers children a confident introduction to British boarding life, combining a warm, nurturing environment with an academically ambitious ethos.

As one of the oldest prep schools in England, with over 200 years of heritage, Twyford blends tradition with a vibrant, forward-looking school community where children flourish.

Designed for international pupils aged 9 -13, the programme offers a carefully tailored blend of academic lessons, English language immersion, boarding life, co-curricular activities and cultural enrichment. Created for individual pupils or very small groups, it provides a personalised experience within a safe, supportive and family-style setting.

Ideal for families considering future entry into a UK boarding school – or for those seeking a an academic and cultural immersion of flexible duration – the programme ensures every child receives exceptional personal care and attention. Pupils participate fully in daily school life, joining lessons, enjoying sport, music, drama and clubs, and embracing the rhythm of a British prep school community.

Boarding is an integral part of the Immersion experience, offering pupils a warm, structured and caring introduction to British boarding life. Twyford’s Boarding Enrichment Programme brings creative, recreational and academic spark to the evenings, including thoughtfully planned study support sessions, LAMDA rehearsals, supervised music practice and activities that build focus, confidence and personal development.

With its distinctive educational focus and close-knit pastoral care, the Bespoke Immersion Programme enables pupils to grow in confidence, independence and curiosity while experiencing a genuine introduction to UK schooling. Stays are available for one to two weeks during term time, with longer visits – including extended placements – available by arrangement. As each placement is entirely bespoke, fees are calculated individually, with quotations provided on request.
