Emily studied at Edinburgh University before joining the Foreign office in 1997. She worked as a diplomat in Zambia, Argentina and France before returning to London. In 2009 she moved to Hampshire, sending her 3 children to Twyford. She loves cricket, gardening and her English bull terrier.

After some 16 years in the private sector, advising the NHS Simon returned to the Public Sector in 2017 to lead the Estates and Facilities function across the NHS in both the secondary and primary care sectors. An accredited Gateway Reviewer and Project Director, Simon understands the need for commercial, innovative and deliverable solutions. In his role at NHS England he is using his skills and experiences to bring fresh ideas and drive to improve the quality and efficiency of Estates and Facilities Management across the NHS.  He is also a father of 3, all who are Old Twyfordians.

Jenny Price has been the Head of Godolphin for two years, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for student wellbeing to the role. Prior to her appointment as Head, Jenny served as the Pastoral Head at Godolphin for four years, where she was instrumental in shaping the school’s outstanding pastoral care system.

With nearly 30 years of experience as a secondary school teacher and a resident within a boarding school community, Jenny has a deep understanding of the unique needs of boarding students. She holds a BA (Hons) from Durham University and a PGCE from the University of Cambridge, reflecting her academic strength and commitment to education. Alongside her leadership duties, Jenny continues to teach music to students in the Lower School, nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the arts.

Jenny’s extensive boarding experience includes her time as Housemistress at Bryanston and Westonbirt Schools, where she developed a keen interest in the wellbeing and mental health of young people. She is a qualified Mental Health First Aid trainer, passionately advocating for mental health awareness and ensuring that all students at Godolphin are supported holistically—academically, emotionally and socially. Jenny’s leadership is marked by her dedication to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, aligned with Godolphin’s core values of ambition, authenticity, courage, and kindness.

Gareth is a current Twyford parent with 2 children in the School.

Gareth is Managing Director of The Good Salon Guide and One Mental Health with an oversight of all areas of the business.

A keen sailor, he is often found on the Solent and would love to take his family across to the Caribbean one day!

Joanne qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and joined Shoosmiths as a partner in 2005 having previously worked at Denton Wilde Sapte (now SNR Denton) where she was made a partner in 1999.    She heads up the real estate team, advising on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and the property aspects of corporate based matters, specialising in development. Joanne and her family moved from London to Hampshire in 2003.  Her son Henry was at Twyford between 2006 and 2012.

Dr Chris Stevens has been Headmaster of Bradfield College since September 2015.

He is Chair of the Rugby Group and of the HMC Education Committee. He also serves as a Governor at Theale Green School and as a Trustee for the Learning Skills Trust and the Bradfield Club in Peckham.

Chris was educated at Tonbridge School and then read Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University, where he received his MA. He began his teaching career as a College Lecturer while researching for a DPhil in Italian Literature at Oxford University and also taught English in Italy for one year.

Following this, he established a study centre in France for a British prep school before joining Uppingham School where he was a Head of Department, Housemaster and Master-in-charge of cricket. Prior to joining Bradfield, he was Second Master at Marlborough College.

Chris is a keen sportsman, who skis, plays cricket, golf and runs, participating in two marathons in recent years; he also loves reading and the performing arts. His wife, Helen, is an English Professor at Oxford and President of Corpus Christi College. They have three daughters.

Doug is a former Twyford parent and live locally to the School. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he has held senior leadership positions in the public and private sectors for organisations that include Babcock International, Arqiva and the Ministry of Defence.

Doug is currently the MD of Defence in UK &Europe for Serco Group, a FTSE 250 company.

Doug is married to Melissa and have three children and one cocker spaniel. Fun fact: Melissa drew the sketches of the School that appear on the mugs still used at Twyford.

Aurélien grew up in France, where he studied English, Literature and Civilisation, before moving to Winchester.

He joined Winchester College in 2009, where he is Housemaster of Moberly’s and teaches languages. He has also held a range of other roles, including Head of French, Deputy Housemaster of Fearon’s, Master in Charge of Strength and Conditioning, football coach and tennis coach.

He holds the BSA Advanced Certificate in Pastoral Care and Boarding Management and takes a particular interest in safeguarding and the wellbeing of pupils. Outside of the classroom, he remains an enthusiastic sportsman with wide-ranging interests, is a qualified personal trainer, a keen amateur tennis player, and lives with his wife and daughter.

Adam has been Headmaster of St Edmund’s Hindhead since 2000.

Previously a Housemaster at the Dragon School and Head of Department at Cothill House, Adam brings a wealth of experience to the Board. Adam is also a Governor at Dover College where he chairs the Education committee.

Adam is married to Emma with three children in their twenties and a grandson in Nursery.

After formative years growing up on the western coastal edge of Australia, Adam emigrated to the UK over 35 years ago.

Having attended Bradfield College, Adam read Geography at Durham University before starting a career in Sales and Marketing. Quickly realising that education was his true vocation he moved into the educational sector, teaching Geography at Bradfield before becoming Head of Department there and gaining his teaching qualification from Cambridge University.

He then moved on to Oakham School, running one of the largest Geography departments in the UK and coached several cricket and golf teams to national finals, having achieved national success whilst at University in both sports too.

Nine years as a Housemaster followed, before the move to the Glasgow Academy as Deputy Rector for three years north of the border.   At his happiest on a windswept links with a 2 iron in hand or up in the mountains with a map and compass, Scotland was a wonderful experience with his wife (a medic) and three children.

He has been Head at Lord Wandsworth, a co-educational boarding and day school of 650 pupils set in 1200 acres of Hampshire countryside, for 6 years, and one which has won National awards in Wellbeing and Mental Health initiatives and received recognition for their Character Education programme. It is a Foundation school, whose original purpose was to provide an education for children who had lost the support of one or both parents. This ethos remains at the heart of the school.

Adam has a passion for Pupil Voice, Character Education, the all-round nature of schools, and in ensuring leadership for all. He is also a governor at Gordonstoun and has been Chair of HMC South Central.

Abeed is an entrepreneurial strategic adviser with over 20 years’ experience supporting organisations to modernise, adapt, and prepare for the future. Specialising in business model restructuring, he works closely with boards and senior leadership teams to navigate complex change and create sustainable long-term value across technology, media, education-adjacent, and mission-driven organisations.

Frequently appointed at pivotal moments, Abeed brings a thoughtful balance of strategic insight, strong governance, and people-centred leadership. He has extensive experience supporting organisations to strengthen performance, respond confidently to new challenges, and plan effectively for the future.

A former international cricketer and long-standing contributor to youth sport development, Abeed has a deep appreciation of pastoral care, safeguarding, and the importance of creating nurturing environments in which young people can thrive. He would bring a future-focused, community-driven approach to the Governing Body at Twyford School.

Sascha is currently the Senior Housemistress at Canford School, where she is Housemistress of De Lacy House and teaches Geography and Spanish. She is also involved in coaching and community service, supporting pupils both pastorally and beyond the classroom.

She is particularly interested in how children grow and develop within strong, supportive communities, shaped by her experience living and working internationally and a strong appreciation of different cultures and languages. She enjoys outdoor sport, including rowing and sailing, and values creativity through art and design.

Sascha is delighted to join the Twyford governing board and contribute her experience in pastoral leadership, education, and community engagement. Sascha strongly believes in the role schools play in nurturing confident, curious young people by providing opportunities for exploration, personal growth, and meaningful interaction. For her, Twyford’s strong foundations and forward-looking approach make it an exciting community to support.

Tanya studied at St Andrews University before joining Cazenove Capital as a graduate trainee and becoming a Private Client Fund Manager.
After her first son was born she set up a window box company with another Mum called “Ritchie & Gray” based in South West London. On moving to Hampshire her three boys went to Twyford before going onto Winchester College. 
Tanya has been a governor of her local village primary school, where she was the SEND governor, and she retrained as a dyslexia specialist teacher. She currently works part time as an LSA at St Swithun’s Prep School.
