Our boarding approach is designed not only as a practical solution for busy families but also as an important stepping stone in preparing children for the transition to full boarding at senior schools after Year 8. Many of our pupils actively look forward to boarding – it’s often child-led, eagerly anticipated, and becomes a truly special part of Twyford life.

In September, we introduced an enhanced boarding model designed to reflect the busy lives of modern families.

You can now choose weekly boarding, with the flexibility of either a Sunday evening return or an early Monday morning drop-off, or opt for flexi-boarding, which offers regular evenings during the week tailored to suit your family’s needs.

This flexible approach ensures that every family can find a boarding routine that works for them.

With experienced house staff on hand, children are supported, encouraged, and cared for as they grow into happy, confident young people.

Making Twyford Accessible

Our expanded escorted transport service - The Twyford Express - now offers routes across London, the Solent region, the New Forest, and the Home Counties. This service makes it even easier for more families to access the many opportunities of a Twyford education.
