Clubs and wraparound care

Twyford offers comprehensive wrap-around care from 7.30am to 6.00pm each weekday, helping parents balance work and home life while knowing their children are happy and well cared for before and after the school day.

Our broad programme of after-school clubs and activities is designed to enrich each child’s experience beyond the classroom. From Tag Rugby, Street Dance, Ballet and Tennis to Cookery, Mindfulness, Animal Care, Eco Club, Computer Club, Netball, Rugby Tots, School of Comedy, Gardening and Forest School, there is something to capture every child’s interest. These activities encourage curiosity, build confidence, and help children develop a love of learning that extends beyond the school day.

Daily Schedule
  • 7.30 - 8.00am: Breakfast Club in the Dining Hall (Years 1-2)
  • 8.00 - 8.30am: Early Morning Club in Pre-Prep (Nursery-Year 2)
  • 4.00 - 5.00pm: Woodpeckers (Nursery) or Activity Club (Reception-Year 2)
  • 5.00 - 6.00pm: Woodpeckers (Nursery-Year 2)

Woodpeckers takes place in Pre-Prep and offers supervised, child-led play in a relaxed setting. Children can choose their own activities, play with friends, read or create, supported by the Pre-Prep team. A lovely, balanced, nutritious snack will be provided, designed to support sustained energy and overall wellbeing throughout the session.
